Conditions in East Africa
The dollars committed to ADP over the past 35 years have helped to secure clean water, promoted food security, grown family incomes, planted trees and sponsored orphans for school. Now, the combined effects of drought, an NGO sector hobbled by the pandemic, and inflation (which in Kenya is now almost 10% annually and in the countryside is dramatically higher) are causing many families to cut meals to one per day and to opt for cheaper foods. Due to new education policies, intended to make up for lost time under Covid-19, families are struggling to pay mounting school fees on an aggressive schedule imposed by the new government.
In the areas we serve we are seeing hardship and economic stress unlike times of the recent past. Your generosity means so much to our development projects in East Africa and to the families and communities we are working with. Your gift makes a difference. Thank you!
AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS is a 501(c)(3) organization.

A Zoom Zoom HARAMBEE 2020 was held on June 17, 2020. This great experiment (for us) in online fundraising featured news from Eastern Africa, updates on our four projects and terrific music and dance.
